[Recommendation] Happy Ending, a Quirky Yaoi Story

***Warning! This post is only about my mind. Don't take it personal or offensive***

You read it right. I just said Yaoi. Yes, and this post will be all about Yaoi.

If you've never known what is Yaoi... Well... I bet that you're not an otaku and not a kind of manga enthusiast, right?

Yaoi is... gay. Yaoi is... homosexual. And Yaoi is about boy's love. Is it clear enough?

Selama petualangan gue yang sangat liar di internet (bukan liar implisit), gue mulai mengenal kehidupan gay waktu SMP. Yes, i know it's a little too early.

I'm not a saint, and i shouldn't be the one that judge them.

I also remembered crying while reading their stories.

Love is blind, right? Maybe love is blind enough to separate the gender.

They spent their whole lives blaming themselves.

Well, satu hal, endingnya agak-agak aneh. Memang masih happy ending seperti judulnya, cuma... hmmm... why won't you just read it by yourself?

No matter what an ending brings it with a new beginning,
A repetition is not just a history,
It is first, a proof of life,

Your happy ending is getting ready to accept a new beginning,
It doesn't matter what you've experienced,

If you're ready,
The beginning will definitely open,

Do not become exhausted,
Then, when you've found the truth,
You will be safe...
-Happy Ending Prologue

The story itself portrayed the reality of love (at least to me). You cannot choose who you will love, really. The manhwa contains 12 chapter and has completed. The author is Lee Kyungha, and yes, this is a Korean comic. I really didn't boast the illustration, but the story is really worth-to-try. Come on, it's just 12 chapters long.

Shortly, the story tells about a rich and successful man, Park Wonwoo was bored with his life and needed something new. Then, he joined a roommate program and shared his apartment with another person. Instead of a girl came to be his roommate, a boy was came, his name was Hokyung. That boy has an easy going personality but with a mysterious background. Living together with a man, getting to know that person little by little, also made Wonwoo changed. He later found that he fell in love with Hokyung, a guy that changed his life, threw away his boredom. Hokyung also liked him, and loved his apartment badly. He had a really weird vision, and told it to Wonwoo. He had a vision about the end of this city. He saw it himself and wanted to spend his last days with the one he loved. Wonwoo defined that Hokyung just liked him because he lived in the apartment (Hokyung showed his love with the apartment frankly).

Should i spoil the ending? It is a happy ending, indeed. I assured it. But... maybe with a slight essence of eccentricity. The climax hasn't found or starting to solved until the remaining end. AND THE ENDING... I... couldn't help it... i just said "the f*ck?" unconsciously. It's odd, but i believed it's still counted as a happy ending. Wonwoo successfully freed from his boredom, Hokyung was smiling at the end...

Sumpah gue gatel banget mau membeberkan bagaimana endingnya...

But ! Please do watch this one. It's not like any yaoi story i ever had who full of lust and force, really. The love scene was coming smoothly and really awed me.

And last, I had a word to you, all.

If you really opposed homosexual, have you ever experienced it before? If you don't know a thing, how could you judge them like you're the only rightful one?

I'm not one of them, not also their pro, but at least i've tried to understand them, and not judging anything.

Thank you for allowing me to speak up about this sensitive topic.

Have a nice and beautiful day,

<3
